According to Buddhist texts, Buddha Purnima 2021 is the birth date of Lord Buddha. He was born in Lumbini, Nepal on the day of Vaishakh in 563BCE. This is the birth date of Lord Buddha, who later attained enlightenment and departed for heavenly abode in the 18th year of his life.
