While granting conditional bail to Aryan, Arbaaz and Munmun, the High Court has imposed seven conditions. As per these conditions they will have to submit their passport. Will not go abroad without permission. Will not tamper with evidence and will not talk to the media. Let us inform that Aryan’s lawyer Mukul Rohatgi, while arguing in favor of his bail, had insisted that neither drug was recovered from Aryan nor his medical test was done. He was arrested on the basis of very superficial evidence. Rohatgi had termed the WhatsApp chats being presented against him as irrelevant and said that they cannot be considered as evidence. Rohatgi had also raised questions on Aryan’s arrest and keeping him in jail for so many days.

On this, Rohatgi had argued in the High Court that what is found from Arbaaz is not in our control. Arbaaz is not our servant.

Arbaaz Merchant’s father Aslam Merchant said that justice should be delivered at the earliest. If you have to cure these people in such cases, it should not be in jail but in a rehab center. My son has lost 7 kgs while Aryan (Khan) was alive on biscuits.

The interesting thing is that two veteran lawyers Satish Manshinde and Amit Desai were unable to get bail to Aryan Khan and his associates in the Special Court, Lower Court and Session. In such a situation, Aryan Khan’s case was strengthened by the plea of former Attorney General Mukul Rohatgi in the High Court and he got it. Along with Mukul Rohatgi, advocates Satish Manshinde and Amit Desai were also present in the court of Justice Nitin Sambre.
